The future of superyachting is becoming quieter, cleaner and increasingly sophisticated. GX Superyachts has launched its first 138-foot hybrid flagship in Turkey, introducing a new vision of responsible luxury at sea.
Created by the team behind Greenline Yachts, GX Superyachts brings years of experience in environmentally conscious cruising into the superyacht sector. Its new flagship demonstrates how advanced technology and refined design can work together without compromising comfort or performance.
At the heart of the yacht is an advanced diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system, supported by a high-capacity lithium battery bank and integrated solar technology. One of its most notable capabilities is the ability to remain emissions-free at anchor for up to 48 hours, allowing owners and guests to enjoy remote destinations with dramatically reduced noise and environmental impact.
The technology can also reduce onboard electricity consumption by up to 45 percent, reflecting the growing shift towards smarter and more efficient yacht ownership.
Sustainability, however, is only part of the story.
Italian designer Marco Casali is responsible for both the exterior and interior, creating a contemporary aesthetic defined by clean lines, natural materials and an effortless connection between indoor and outdoor living. Highlights include an expansive flybridge and a fold-out beach club designed to bring guests closer to the water.
The result is a yacht conceived not simply around lower emissions, but around a more peaceful experience at sea. Reduced noise and vibration, greater comfort and extended periods of silent operation create an onboard atmosphere that feels particularly suited to long-range cruising.
GX Superyachts itself is a relatively young name, having been launched in 2024 with ambitions to bring proven hybrid technology into larger yacht categories. Its future range is expected to span approximately 78 to 164 feet, signalling that sustainable propulsion is becoming an increasingly important part of the luxury yacht market.
The 138-foot flagship is expected to make its world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, placing this new approach to responsible yachting firmly in the spotlight.
