Commissioned by American businessman and lifelong James Bond enthusiast John Staluppi, Project Bond will become the largest yacht ever delivered by the Turkish shipyard. At 269 feet, she surpasses Bilgin’s celebrated 80-metre vessels Tatiana, Leona and Al Reem, introducing a new level of scale, luxury and personality to the builder’s fleet.
The exterior styling and naval architecture come from Unique Yacht Design, while H2 Yacht Design is responsible for the interiors and exterior deck spaces. Inside, the yacht embraces a contemporary interpretation of Art Deco, blending rich woods, marble, lacquered finishes, mirrored details and striking shades of blue with elegant metallic accents.
The main saloon is expected to be one of Project Bond’s defining spaces. Expansive glazing floods the interior with natural light, while an impressive open staircase creates a rare direct connection between the saloon and beach club. Curved furniture, statement lighting and a dramatic bar reinforce the yacht’s glamorous yet highly liveable character.
The owner’s suite continues the theme with generous proportions, sophisticated detailing and a richly finished private bathroom. VIP and guest cabins follow the same design language, while a dedicated lower-deck cinema — complete with reclining seating and immersive lighting — provides the perfect setting for, naturally, a James Bond marathon.
Project Bond has also been designed for serious cruising. With twin MTU 16V 4000M73 engines, she is expected to achieve a top speed of 17.5 knots, cruise at approximately 15 knots and offer a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles. Her 3.6-metre draught has been specifically considered for access to shallower cruising grounds.
More than a statement yacht, Project Bond represents a highly personal vision of life at sea, combining timeless styling, long-range capability and spaces created for extended periods aboard.
