One of Formula 1’s most recognisable team principals, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team CEO and Team Principal Toto Wolff, has welcomed a spectacular new arrival to Malta, with his 50-metre superyacht V making an impressive entrance into Marina di Valletta.
Arriving in the early hours of yesterday morning, just as the sun was rising, V provided a striking sight against Valletta’s historic waterfront. KCS Photography was on hand to capture the yacht’s arrival, showcasing her sleek profile and unmistakable presence as she entered one of Malta’s most iconic marinas.
Built in 2021 by renowned Italian shipbuilder Overmarine Group, V is a high-performance yacht with specifications that are certainly fitting for an F1 heavyweight. Her twin-engine setup delivers a staggering combined output of approximately 10,400 hp, giving the yacht the power and performance to match her sophisticated design.
The yacht also comes with an eye-watering price tag. Wolff reportedly acquired V in 2023 for around US$27 million, adding another impressive asset to the collection of the motorsport executive.
With her combination of Italian craftsmanship, striking design and exceptional performance, V is a natural fit for an owner whose professional life revolves around speed, engineering and precision.
After her stop in Malta, V has now continued her Mediterranean journey and is heading towards Monaco, another iconic destination on the yachting and motorsport calendar.
Her arrival also once again places Malta in the spotlight as a destination for some of the world’s most prestigious superyachts. The island’s strategic position in the heart of the Mediterranean, alongside its established marina infrastructure, comprehensive maritime services and internationally recognised yacht registration framework, makes it a natural base for yachts of this calibre.
The presence of V highlights the depth of Malta’s yachting ecosystem and its ability to accommodate sophisticated vessels and their owners. From yacht registration and compliance to technical assistance, berthing, maintenance and specialist maritime support, Malta offers a well-established network of services that continues to reinforce its position as a leading yachting hub in the Mediterranean.
