Angelique: Turquoise Yachts’ 88m Flagship Superyacht Launch

Turquoise Yachts has unveiled Angelique, an 87.7-metre superyacht that sets a new benchmark for the Turkish shipbuilding industry. Formerly known as Project Vento, she is now the largest yacht ever constructed in Turkey by volume, combining record-breaking scale with refined design and meticulous craftsmanship.

A Seamless Blend of Design and Craftsmanship

The yacht’s exterior, realised in collaboration with H2 Yacht Design, balances elegance with contemporary flair. Her soft, flowing lines, angled grilles, and striking “Tour de France” blue hull project sophistication, reflecting a partnership between Turquoise and H2 that has spanned 12 projects over 17 years.

Outdoor Living and Wellness

Angelique’s expansive deck spaces are designed for leisure, entertainment, and wellness. Highlights include 2 Jacuzzis, a beach club with a drive-in tender docking system, fold-down terraces, and skylights above the pool. Wellness facilities include a full spa with hammam and sauna, a panoramic gym on the bridge deck, and a 6.5-metre glass-surround swimming pool with contra-flow.

Entertainment options abound: DJ facilities throughout, a golf simulator, and a touch-and-go helipad that doubles as a basketball court. The sundeck offers informal dining with teppanyaki and barbecue grills, an outdoor cinema, a bar, and sunpads encircling one of the Jacuzzis.

Interiors That Celebrate Art Deco

Inside, H2 Yacht Design has applied a refined Art Deco approach, blending curved detailing with luxurious finishes. Inspired by the yard’s 77-metre yacht Go, the interiors are tailored to the owner’s lifestyle, combining rich materials, blue accents, and subtle glamorous touches that create an elegant, contemporary atmosphere.

Accommodation and Guest Comfort

Angelique accommodates 12 guests across seven flexible cabins. The forward-facing owner’s suite includes a private deck, lounge, dressing rooms, office, and elevated breakfast area with panoramic bow views. A secondary saloon features a cinema, bar, dining area, and games table, enclosed with sliding glass doors if desired. A forward terrace provides additional seating and a second Jacuzzi.

Other guest cabins include two VIPs (convertible into a “Super VIP”), three doubles, and a convertible on the main deck. Crew quarters sleep 27, with a lift serving all decks. The central open staircase doubles as an atrium, displaying a suspended Dale Chihuly sculpture. A full complement of tenders and water toys completes the yacht’s offering.

Technical Specifications and Delivery

Constructed in steel and aluminium, Angelique measures 13.2 metres in beam with a draught of 3.7 metres. Following her launch at Turquoise’s Pendik facilities, delivery is expected later this year, after which she will be available for exclusive charter with Edmiston in the Mediterranean, starting at €1,200,000 per week.

CEO of Turquoise Yachts, Burak Akgül, commented:

“Crowning more than 30 years of heritage, Vento is a remarkable achievement. It reflects the collective expertise, dedication and passion of our team and partners.”

Owner’s representatives at Occam Marine added:

“The collaboration with Turquoise has been defined by transparency, shared commitment to excellence and a genuine spirit of partnership. Vento is a striking testament to what can be achieved when shipyard and owner’s team work in harmony.”

A Flagship for the Ages

With Angelique, Turquoise Yachts has not only delivered a record-breaking vessel but also demonstrated the possibilities when scale, design, and luxury are combined with meticulous attention to detail. From her wellness and entertainment facilities to her refined interiors, Angelique is poised to make a lasting impression in the world of superyachts.
