Frette, the 43.6-metre motor yacht named after the renowned Italian luxury linen house, has been spotted in Malta, bringing with her a sophisticated blend of Italian design, contemporary living and an unmistakable connection to the world of fashion.
Built by Italian shipyard Columbus Yachts and delivered in 2024, Frette is the second yacht to be built on the Atlantique 43MT/4 platform. Designed by Milan-based Hot Lab, her exterior lines draw inspiration from both the fluidity of sailing yachts and the sculpted forms of Italian grand touring cars. The result is a silhouette that feels elegant, dynamic and remarkably light for a 43.6-metre yacht.
Her most defining feature is undoubtedly the “sailing-type” stern. Centred around a swimming pool, the aft area sits just 50 centimetres above the water, creating an unusually intimate connection with the sea. Foldable side wings extend the space even further, transforming the stern into an expansive platform for lounging, entertaining and enjoying the Mediterranean at its closest.
Throughout the yacht, custom Frette linens complement an interior conceived as a calm, sophisticated retreat. Brushed and bleached American walnut in a herringbone pattern, oak detailing, marble accents and carefully selected furnishings from names including Fendi Casa, Giorgetti and Paolo Castelli create a contemporary atmosphere without compromising warmth.
The yacht’s connection to the Frette name also reflects the continued evolution of the historic Italian luxury brand. Filippo Arnaboldi has been leading Frette as CEO since 2017, bringing more than two decades of experience to the company and driving its strategic innovation and growth.
