Making a commanding debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, the 36-metre Sirena 118 Ikigai introduces a new flagship for Sirena Yachts and demonstrates just how far the Turkish builder is willing to push its semi-custom philosophy.
At 118 feet, Ikigai is the largest GRP yacht in Sirena’s range, eclipsing the Sirena 88 by a considerable margin. Yet size is only part of the story. The first hull has been heavily personalised by her owner, showcasing the flexibility of a platform designed to accommodate individual tastes without losing the brand’s distinctive identity.
Exterior styling comes from Sirena’s in-house team, while naval architecture is by Germán Frers. The familiar axe bow and muscular profile remain, but beneath the surface lies an efficient fast-displacement hull engineered for comfort, range and seaworthiness. Twin MAN V12 engines delivering a combined 3,100 hp give Ikigai a top speed of 16 knots, while a more powerful 3,800 hp package is available for owners seeking speeds of up to 21 knots.
Inside, Cor D. Rover has created an interior inspired by historic exploration and the natural world. Vintage naval portholes, ship compasses and aviation references are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, while moss green, burgundy and mustard tones create a rich, earthy atmosphere. Pressed leaves, peacock feathers and seashell details reinforce the yacht’s organic character.
A beam of almost 7.8 metres and volume of 279 GT provide generous living spaces. The main saloon benefits from full-height glazing and opens directly onto the aft deck, while the forward owner’s suite connects to a private terrace. A spiral staircase can link the suite to a lower-level office and lounge, creating an unusually private two-storey retreat.
Five guest cabins provide accommodation for up to 12 guests, while a substantial beach club with fold-down sea terraces strengthens the yacht’s connection with the water.
Above, the upper deck offers an elegant dining and lounge area, while the sundeck is arranged for relaxed outdoor living with an alfresco bar and generous seating.
With Ikigai, Sirena has created more than a larger flagship. It has delivered a yacht that combines serious cruising credentials with a level of personalisation designed to make every hull feel distinctly its own.
