Sanlorenzo has revealed SHE, a 25.5-metre yacht concept that looks to the past not for nostalgia, but for design clarity. Conceived as an exclusive production model, the project brings together Zuccon International Project and Lissoni & Partners to reinterpret the elegance of mid-century Italian yachtbuilding through a contemporary framework.

Rather than relying on overt retro styling, SHE adopts a restrained approach. Her exterior is characterised by clean proportions and a strong material presence, with wood forming a defining element of the profile. The influence of 1960s design is subtle, expressed through balance and simplicity rather than ornament.
The same philosophy carries through to the interiors, which have been imagined as a refined Milanese living space. Warm hues, mahogany finishes and bespoke detailing establish a calm, residential atmosphere, while loose furniture and sculptural features nod to classic Italian design without dominating the space.
Accommodation is arranged across three en suite cabins: a full-beam owner’s suite, a VIP cabin and a guest cabin, offering a practical yet comfortable layout suited to private cruising.
Life on board unfolds across three interconnected levels. At the aft end, a combined lounge, bar and helm area creates a relaxed social hub, while the main saloon benefits from full-height glazing and direct access to the cockpit. A circular staircase leads down to a slightly lower mezzanine, where the dining area sits alongside the galley and crew quarters for three. Light filtering through the superstructure glazing helps soften the transition between levels, giving the interior a layered, flowing feel.
Outdoor spaces are designed to adapt to different moments at sea. The forward section of the main deck is dedicated to relaxation, complete with a sunbathing area, while the sundeck incorporates Sanlorenzo’s Smart Island system, allowing furniture to be reconfigured as required. At anchor, the stern opens to create a sea-level terrace, extending the connection between the yacht and the water.
SHE also reflects Sanlorenzo’s growing focus on responsible construction. The hull is built using bio-based resins and sandwich lamination to reduce weight, while deck surfaces use a synthetic alternative to natural teak, chosen for its low maintenance and reduced heat absorption.
From a technical standpoint, the yacht marks a first for the shipyard. SHE is the initial Sanlorenzo model to integrate Volvo Penta’s hybrid IPS propulsion system, combining electric and diesel power. Twin IPS30 units, each delivering 1,000hp, are expected to provide a cruising speed of up to 20 knots in hybrid mode, with silent electric operation possible at speeds of up to nine knots.
The concept is complemented by a bespoke 3.9-metre carbon-fibre tender, also fitted with electric propulsion, reinforcing the project’s emphasis on efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
Describing the project, Sanlorenzo Group CEO Massimo Perotti positioned SHE as a statement of continuity. The yacht, he noted, embodies the brand’s belief in understated elegance, thoughtful innovation and design that remains relevant well beyond current trends.
