Edward has been a dedicated legal professional since 2016, beginning his career as a trainee at a well-regarded maritime law firm in Malta. His passion for yachting and maritime law has driven his career from the start during his legal studies. With extensive experience, Edward has worked on a variety of tasks, providing clients with legal guidance on a broad range of matters within the yachting and shipping sectors. He is admitted to the Maltese Bar, the Superior Courts of Malta, and is a member of the Malta Maritime Law Association.
Currently, Edward serves as a Manager in the Maritime and Commercial Law department at CSB Group, where he leads the Maritime team alongside the Corporate and Commercial Law department. His work within the Maritime team, particularly in the yachting sector, involves a range of services including yacht and ship registrations, yacht importation and leasing, VAT advisory, assistance with yacht sales and purchases, and other related industry matters.
Edward, along with the yachting team, attends several yacht shows each year to strengthen existing client and intermediary relationships while seeking new opportunities for collaboration. These events include BOOT Düsseldorf in January, Dubai International Boat Show in February, Palma International Boat Show in April/May, and the Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show in September, among others
In his free time Edward loves to travel, and after work enjoys playing tennis, padel and football to remain active.
